Meet our HubSpot CMS Expert

As business leaders, we speed on through our days pushing the boundaries, harder, faster, leaner and more efficient than we did a minute ago.

Success is driven by attitude, and attitude is usually implied and representative of an individual. In business, power and scale cannot result from individual alone, but rather the success is a direct result of the sum or the parts being greater than the whole.

A business is only as good as the team representing it and today we have the pleasure, privilege and honour of dedicating this post internally, placing a spotlight on Maai Cosinas - father, gentleman and officially Lupo's Senior HubSpot Developer.

Maai, a graduate of Batangas State University in the Phillipines, is a certified HubSpot CMS developer for CMS hub professional, CMS hub enterprise, and is proficient in HTML, Python, Wordpress, and more!

We asked Maai to talk a bit about himself, here's what we asked him...

What is the benefit of engaging HubSpot Experts?

When did your digital journey lure you into HubSpot and its ecosystem?

8 years ago, I had been helping a digital agency in New Zealand creating websites built on other platforms and this is when we both started exploring Hubspot.

What drove you to work with HubSpot CMS rather than other CMS's?

I still work with other platforms and technologies but I do spend a lot of time in Hubspot when it comes to creating websites. What's great with Hubspot CMS is it's fully managed but it is continually developing in a way it extends the possibilities in terms of what you can achieve and this doesn't make it boring for me as a developer.

Are there any aspects to HubSpot you find particularly unique and most useful as a developer, and reasons why other developers might feel the same way?

Hubspot is an all-in-one platform and for certified developers, it allows us to easily align ourselves to the goal of our clients' business goals and help them getting results at some level. I think many website developers would feel the same way as often if you are dealing with self-managed platform or technologies, you are connecting many dots that could increase complexity of a project. This is not necessarily bad but for some businesses this might be a potential pain point.

Do you predict any specific aspects of the development areas of the industry to change, drastically, any time soon?

A Page-less site is not a new thing but I think, and I see it already happening, this will become a common method of building an average site as it is simply robust and gives better user experience.

How are you looking to grow as a developer and does HubSpot play any part in your development considerations?

I always find time to keep myself updated with the technologies and maintain my mastery of at least a couple of languages. And Hubspot is developing actively and at the same time it can integrate with many apps which sometimes expose me to a whole thing which could spark a whole new learning path.

Is there anything you could say to encourage other future developers and HubSpot CMS users to Streamline Your Marketing?

Hubspot is often straightforward but at the same time it gives you so many possibilities so if you feel stuck at some point, Hubspot Community is extremely helpful. The Hubspot CMS Documentation is great too. If you're still starting out, I recommend checking out the Hubspot CMS for Developers course
