Product Features of the Month - HubSpot Latest Product updates

HubSpot continues to roll out powerful improvements and this month is packed with exciting new features designed to improve productivity, reporting, and customer engagement. From smarter reporting cards to new landing page flexibility, these updates are focused on helping businesses work more efficiently while getting deeper insights into their data.

At Lupo Digital, we’ve gone through all the latest changes and picked our favourites for you. Let’s dive into the highlights of the HubSpot September 2025 Updates.

Lupo’s Top Picks

1. Breeze Copilot Data Model Configuration

What is it?
This feature allows admins to use Breeze Copilot to configure and adjust HubSpot’s CRM data models more easily. You can now streamline how records, associations, and properties are set up without needing technical workarounds.

Why does it matter?
For many businesses, data modelling is a roadblock, requiring developer support or complex customisation. With Copilot-enabled setup, teams can adapt their CRM faster, reduce errors, and ensure their system reflects their business processes.

How it works:
Admins can interact directly with Copilot in the data model configuration tool. Ask questions, request schema changes, or adjust associations, and Copilot will update your CRM in real time.

2. Apply Activity Logging Defaults to External Emails

What is it?
HubSpot now lets you apply default activity logging settings to external emails sent outside the CRM. This ensures that every relevant interaction is automatically tracked.

Why does it matter?
Previously, logging external emails could be inconsistent, leading to gaps in activity history. By standardising defaults, sales and service teams can maintain complete visibility without manual logging.

How it works:
Set logging defaults under user preferences. When sending external emails (like via Outlook or Gmail integrations), HubSpot automatically applies those defaults to capture activity consistently.

3. New Reporting CRM Cards: Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) & Revenue Attribution

What is it?
Two new CRM cards are now available in HubSpot’s reporting toolkit: Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Revenue Attribution. These cards give teams faster access to high-impact metrics.

Why does it matter?
Understanding long-term customer value and revenue attribution is crucial for decision-making. These insights help marketers allocate budget wisely and enable sales teams to focus on high-value relationships.

How it works:
Add the CLV or Revenue Attribution card directly into your reporting dashboards. HubSpot automatically calculates the metrics from connected deals and interactions, surfacing them in a simple, visual card.

4. Enhancement: Template Selection in Landing Pages

What is it?
HubSpot landing pages now support enhanced template selection, making it easier to choose and customise templates when creating new pages.

Why we love it:
Marketers often struggled with limited or rigid templates, slowing campaign execution. This update empowers teams to select the right design quickly, maintain consistency, and launch campaigns faster.

How it works:
When building a new landing page, you’ll now see a streamlined template picker with better categorisation, previews, and flexible options for swapping templates mid-build.

NEW: Standalone Smart CRM

What is it?
HubSpot’s Smart CRM can now be purchased as a standalone product, without requiring a Marketing, Sales, or Service Hub. Available in Professional and Enterprise tiers, it gives businesses access to HubSpot’s powerful CRM features at an affordable per-seat model.

Why does it matter?
Many businesses want a best-in-class CRM without needing a full hub. The standalone option opens HubSpot’s ecosystem to new customers, removes adoption barriers, and positions Smart CRM as a competitive alternative to other providers.

How it works:
Customers can purchase Smart CRM Professional (from $50/seat) or Enterprise (from $75/seat). Smart CRM remains included with any hub purchase, but now businesses can start with CRM only and easily scale into other hubs as their needs grow.

NEW: Breeze Assistant (formerly Breeze Copilot)

What is it?
Breeze has been rebranded with a clearer structure: Breeze Assistants (companions that work with you) and Breeze Agents (digital teammates that work for you). Alongside this, updated pricing and credits make Breeze easier to package, sell, and scale globally.

Why does it matter?
This new taxonomy aligns HubSpot with industry AI standards while clarifying value for customers. It also introduces transparent credit-based pricing, ensuring businesses only pay for the AI outputs they use, from data enrichment to intent signals.

How it works:
Starting September 3, Breeze Assistants replace Copilot. Features like Data Agent, Customer Agent, and Prospecting Agent are monetised via credits, making AI usage scalable. Agents handle tasks like research, buyer intent monitoring, and automated conversations directly within HubSpot.

NEW: AI-Powered CPQ

What is it?
HubSpot’s AI-powered CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) streamlines quoting with intelligent workflows, real-time insights, and automation. It lives in Commerce Hub alongside billing and payments, creating a single revenue platform within Smart CRM.

Why does it matter?
86% of B2B deals stall at quoting. Manual processes cause errors, slow approvals, and poor buyer experiences. AI-Powered CPQ eliminates these bottlenecks by generating quotes in minutes, automating approvals, and integrating revenue data directly into the CRM.

How it works:
CPQ uses AI to generate professional quotes, streamline approvals, and provide a dynamic buyer experience with e-signature, billing, and payments. Available in Commerce Hub Pro and Enterprise, it unifies revenue data and helps sales teams close faster.

NEW: Data Hub (formerly Operations Hub)

What is it?
Data Hub transforms scattered customer data into accurate, actionable datasets. With built-in data quality tools, it ensures customer records remain trustworthy while enabling seamless activation across the HubSpot ecosystem.

Why does it matter?
Businesses struggle with siloed, incomplete, and error-prone data. Poor data leads to bad decisions, broken workflows, and wasted resources. Data Hub offers a unified approach that keeps records clean, consistent, and ready for activation in sales, marketing, and service.

How it works:
Data Hub unifies data sources, automatically cleanses records, and maintains accuracy through ongoing quality checks. Teams can use data studio to build actionable datasets, ensuring every system and campaign leverages complete, reliable customer information.

Social Inbox Notifications

What is it?
HubSpot now provides real-time notifications in the social inbox whenever your brand is mentioned, messaged, or replied to.

Why does it matter?
With more conversations happening on social channels, timely responses are critical. This update ensures your team never misses an opportunity to engage.

How it works:
Notifications appear in the HubSpot social inbox and can also be configured to trigger email or in-app alerts.

Default Email in Help Desk

What is it?
Support teams can now assign a default email address for the Help Desk tool, ensuring consistency across all customer communications.

Why does it matter?
Using multiple addresses often caused confusion for customers and agents alike. Standardising the sender address streamlines communication and builds trust.

How it works:
Admins can set a default Help Desk email in settings. All outbound responses will automatically use this address unless overridden.

Cross-Channel Activation, Comparison & Insights for Segments

What is it?
HubSpot has introduced cross-channel activation for customer segments, plus new comparison and insights tools.

Why does it matter?
This gives marketers the ability to test, analyse, and optimise campaigns across multiple channels while maintaining unified segment insights.

How it works:
From the Segments tool, you can now activate audiences across email, ads, and more. Performance data is then compared side by side to show channel effectiveness.

Average NPS Rating & CSAT CRM Cards

What is it?
Two new service-focused CRM cards have launched: Average Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).

Why does it matter?
Keeping service quality front and centre helps teams stay customer-focused. These cards make it easier to monitor customer sentiment at a glance.

How it works:
Once added to your dashboards, these cards automatically pull survey data into simple averages displayed in real time.

Marketplace Listing Editor Infrastructure Upgrade & Language Flexibility

What is it?
The Marketplace Listing Editor has been upgraded with a stronger infrastructure and added language flexibility.

Why does it matter?
For app developers and partners, managing marketplace listings is now faster, more reliable, and more inclusive for global audiences.

How it works:
Listings can now be edited with greater speed and translated or localised into multiple languages directly in the editor.

Assign Customer Agent to Email

What is it?
Support managers can now assign a specific customer agent to handle an email thread directly within HubSpot.

Why does it matter?
Previously, emails could bounce between agents, creating delays. Assigning ownership ensures accountability and better customer experiences.

How it works:
Within the inbox, managers can select an agent from a dropdown menu to assign responsibility for a given email thread.
